As an avid ebook reader, I have been very disappointed in the lack of spiritual and self help books available for eReaders. So, I was quite excited to see that Linda Goodman’s “Sun Signs”is finally available in an updated 2011 edition for the Kindle eReader. This classic 1968 text helped to popularize astrology and is considered the “introductory bible” to the subject. Perceptively written with a large dose of humor thrown in, the book is indeed a great introduction to the basics of sun sign astrology.
The big plus for the ebook edition is that you can buy any of the twelve sun signs individually for only .99 cents each.
There’s also an updated ebook edition as well of her classic relationship astrology book, Love Signs.
And if you don’t have an eReader? That’s not a problem! There are free apps available for your phone, PC, or even your iPad. And, yes, they are still available in print versions, too!
The thing that is appealing about the idea of Roger Fishman’s What I Know,is that it touches on several key points.
First, it teaches us that passing wisdom on to others is an important, meaningful part of our journey. Secondly, it reminds us that wisdom comes to us from many places, whether is is the words of a child or a lifetime of experience. It is a great reminder that the universe provides wisdom from many different sources. We just need to look for it!
Sheena Iyengar’s The Art of Choosinglooks like a facinating, thought-provoking read. How often do we think about making choices and how those choices affect our lives?
