Enthusiasm

Apathy can be overcome by enthusiasm, and enthusiasm can only be aroused by two things: first, an ideal, with takes the imagination by storm, and second, a definite intelligible plan for carrying that ideal into practice.

Someone once took me through this thought-provoking quiz to revive my enthusiasm. (outside of the many pointers Jim has given me)
Think of the goal you are trying to manifest.
(E.g: Looking for a great job for the past year)
Step 1:
Distribute 10 points between the following
1.Intent 2.Effort 3.Outcome (toward your goal)
where a greater # of pts indicates greater importance to you.
(I distributed = Intent:1pt; Effort:3pts; Outcome:6pts)
Step 2:
Distribute 10 points, between the same 3 items (Intent, effort, Outcome) which would be reflective of God’s report card for you (re goal)
(I distributed (for God)= Intent:5pts; Effort:4pts; Outcome 1pt)
Now the kicker:
Are you beating yourself harder over the “outcome” than God would??? Look at the pts?
Summary: In reality all one can do is have the BEST Intent (the ideal) and put in the BEST effort (the definite plan) & leave the ‘Outcome’ to the Universe/God, for truthfully one has no control over it!!!
TY for letting me share….
