Satisfaction

August 23rd, 2007 by jim1537

Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment, full effort is full victory.

Mahatma Gandhi

This thought is such a good reminder – We live in a world that tends to measure us by our acheivements, not our effort.  We tend to measure ourselves the same way.  We tend to think if we don’t succeed, the time is wasted. To find our satisfaction in the process and not the outcome is a valuable gift.   It is the effort of trying that we learn the most from.  It is the journey, not the end result, which ultimately counts!
